Welcome to Garden Heart Counseling and Healing Arts
Serving Adult Individuals, Couples and Groups in the Bay Area
Hi! I’m Judy and I’m passionate about helping people heal from trauma and anxiety, and thrive through creativity.
Maybe you’re looking for a therapist right now because you feel you aren't reaching your potential at work, in relationships or creative pursuits and you don't know how to get out of your rut...
Perhaps you struggle with feeling bad about yourself and no matter what you accomplish you never feel good enough…
You may be so filled with fear about all the bad things you imagine could happen that you have a hard time relaxing, having fun, and even sleeping...
or you keep your life small to avoid the things that are causing you anxiety…
Maybe you are tired of feeling anxious and unsafe in the world and long to have a sense of well-being, and to be able to love and accept yourself through all the ups and downs that come with life.
No matter what your struggles are, you are not alone and it can get better
Together, we will build a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship that will enable you to feel seen, nurtured, and empowered.
It is my commitment to support you on your path to heal past wounds and change present self-defeating patterns.
I use the power of Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help people learn to regulate their emotions, decrease anxiety, increase stress management skills, process trauma, and regain a sense of control in their lives.
If you are longing to feel more well-being, increase your self-compassion, improve your relationships, and ignite your creativity, you are in the right place.
I welcome people of all gender identities, races, cultural backgrounds, countries of origin, sexual orientations, religions, and body sizes into my practice.

I look forward to connecting with you!
